US stocks close higher as the Nasdaq 100 finish at records

US stocks closed higher on Friday, with the Nasdaq 100 finishing at record levels. The Nasdaq Composite led the major indices with a gain of 1.19% but after trading to an all-time high intraday, it closed back below the level. The broader S&P 500 also joined the move higher but remains 1% or so
